In the beginning, what began with two brothers picking up guitar and drums in 1964, became a journey for life, from the early beat era, into psychedelia, and through the evolution and revolution of rock. It is a long and winding road that has taken the band from the USA to Europe, the U.K. and from The Cavern, The Marquee, and to a great many outdoor festivals and concert halls worldwide. 

As the years have passed, so have original members Jon and Herb Guthrie, leaving Michael to sometimes play as a solo artist, as well as with a full band, playing in the now - in the spirit of the original group. 

                                        

The music of the MGB has withstood both the changing times and sounds, to deliver their brand of rock with equal parts melody, message, and passion. Armed with music old and new, Michael Guthrie still spearheads the power of rock to new generations again and again, into the future.
